Badminton Badge

We will be working on this badge for a few meetings. Here are the requirements:

BADMINTON RULES!
-Standard size is 20 feet wide and 44 feet long. The length and width may be modified depending of the area available, though.
-The net is stretched across the center of the court, dividing it in half. The net's height is 5’ at the center and 5’1" at the poles.

Serving: Player on right court serves when their score is "0" or an even number. Player on left court serves on odd numbered points
PLAYING: The game is played to either 15 or 21 points. The best two out of three games wins the match. Teams change court sides after each game.
A fault occurs when:
The shuttle is served overhand. The shuttle must be struck at a point not higher than the server's waist.
In serving, the shuttle falls out of bounds.
The server or player intentionally distracts, balks or obstructs his opponent.
The server in attempting to serve, misses the shuttle.
The shuttle falls outside the boundaries of the court, goes through or under the net or fails to go over the net
A player reaches over the net and hits the shuttle on the opponent's side of the court. However a player may hit the shuttle on their side of the court and follow through on the swing over the net.
If the shuttle is hit twice in succession by the same player

-learn equipment (shuttle, racket, net) and care of equipment

-play 3 games of badminton

-referee 1 game for faults
